Data Engineer lead or contribute to the data design for Anaplan solution, helping to define how data will flow, and be stored and structured.
Among other things, Data Engineer will:
collaborate with business partners and Product Owner to elicit and understand data requirements and relevant principles and standards
contribute to the creation of architectural principles, standards, and best practices as well as database selection and design
translate data requirements into application, solution, and subject area data models
understand and document the data flow between applications and recommend optimal data flow and storage patterns
create and enhance the business glossary, data dictionary, and related metadata
Job Qualifications
Proven experience in Python/PySpark and SQL/SparkSQL programming skills
Experience in Big Data/ETL (Spark and Databricks preferred)
Experience in implementing projects & solutions in cloud (Azure)
Previous experience or understanding of Data Models
Knowledge of Agile SCRUM and DevOps methodologies
English proficiency and at least a bachelor’s degree
Excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities
