Job Description
Candidate will be responsible for system level validation for new devices and related application.
- Participate and understand the product requirements
- Development of extensive test plan and test scripts using structured tools, and utilities
- Execution and traceability of test cases on a per release basis
- Research, test, and implement new techniques, frameworks, and utilities for Validation
- Help define and enforce validation standards and best practices
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, features, and functionality.
Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on experience in preparation, execution and structured reporting of Mobile products (phones/tablets) validation
- Being able to flash and load phones and mobile devices with images
- Understanding of various mobile domains from validation aspect: Graphics/Memory/Bluetooth/Multimedia/Messaging/Database etc
- Understanding of Client-Server functional methodology
- familiarity with Phone build/Android build management
- Familiar with fundamentals of iOS and Android application frameworks
- Understanding of Apple iPhone/iPad app/Android app development life cycle
