Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications by designing and executing test plans, developing automation scripts, and working closely with developers and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manual Testing
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create detailed test scenarios and test cases
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and exploratory testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools
- Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality-related feedback
Automation Testing
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and/or API applications
- Identify test cases suitable for automation and improve automation coverage
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results
- Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain and enhance automation frameworks
Collaboration & Process
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members
- Contribute to test strategy, test planning, and release sign-off
- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in manual and automation testing
- Strong understanding of development and testing life cycles
- Hands-on experience with at least one automation tool/framework such as:
- Selenium / Playwright / Cypress
- Programming/scripting knowledge in one or more languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.)
- Experience in testing web applications and/or APIs (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, k6)
- Experience with database testing (SQL)
