Description
We are looking forĀ IT professionalsĀ to join a dedicated team supporting client transitions and managed services rollouts. This role focuses onĀ onboarding, security tool deployment, environment discovery, and documentation, working closely with internal teams and client stakeholders. The ideal for candidates experienced inĀ MSP environments, security tools, and cloud/endpoint deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate regularly withĀ clients, onboarding teams, project managers, and internal stakeholdersĀ to provide updates and recommendations
- PerformĀ environment discovery and assessmentsĀ using diagnostic tools; document findings and evaluate security, performance, and overall health
- Support theĀ transition to new managed services plans, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
- Deploy and configureĀ security and managed services tools, including:
- Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)
- SOC/SIEM solutions
- Web and DNS protection tools
- Microsoft 365 security tools
- Install and manage solutions such as:
- Backup and monitoring tools
- Microsoft Defender, Azure AD, and email security platforms
- RMM tools (e.g., Datto, Kaseya)
- PSA/helpdesk tools (e.g., ConnectWise)
- Create and updateĀ technical documentation, including:
- Workstation build checklists
- Employee onboarding/offboarding processes
- Participate inĀ handoff sessionsĀ to ensure service desk readiness and ongoing client support
- Coordinate withĀ vendors and third-party providersĀ to resolve issues and ensure system compatibility
- ManageĀ service and project tickets, ensuring timely updates and resolution
- Collaborate with teams to ensureĀ smooth IT transitions and secure environments
Requirements
- StrongĀ English communication skillsĀ (written and verbal)
- ExcellentĀ time management and organizational skills
- Ability toĀ multitask in fast-paced environments
- StrongĀ problem-solving mindsetĀ and attention to detail
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across functions
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge ofĀ Microsoft 365 services
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of:
- Active Directory & Group Policy
- DNS and networking fundamentals
- Experience with:
- RMM toolsĀ (Datto, Kaseya)
- PSA toolsĀ (ConnectWise)
- Email security (Microsoft Defender, Mimecast)
- Understanding ofĀ endpoint, network, and security technologies
Experience Required
- At leastĀ 1 year of experience in an MSP environment
- Hands-on experience deploying:
- EDR, SIEM, MFA, MDM, antivirus, and access control solutions
- Experience withĀ virtualization and cloud platforms:
- VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, or Azure
- Familiarity with:
- Microsoft Defender (email protection)
- RMM tools (Kaseya VSA, Datto RMM)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with:
- Dark web monitoring tools
- MFA solutions (Microsoft, DUO)
- Web/DNS protection tools (e.g., Cisco Umbrella)
- EDR solutions (e.g., SentinelOne)
