.NET Engineer (Mid/Senior level) - Native Applications

We’re looking for an experienced mid to senior level .NET engineer to help us build Prezi, a full-cycle presentation platform used by millions of people all over the world.

In this role you will work in the Native Applications Team. The primary goal of this team is to deliver a reliable, high performance, delightful end-to-end presentation experience on desktop in cooperation with fellow teams. Additionally the team owns all native applications in Prezi’s portfolio.

As a core member of the Native Applications Team, you’ll be responsible for analyzing and solving tasks independently and proactively as an engineer in the team. We believe in efficiency through code sharing both in UI or in the core rendering and document editing modules. You’ll collaborate with other teams, participate in forming APIs and in integration of shared modules. We work closely together with our engineering manager and designer on our product strategy roadmap. All of us are entitled to help with ideas as well as with technical input to achieve the best user experience and ship it fast in an iterative manner. You’ll own the full life cycle of the team’s projects, advocate for simple, maintainable and testable code.

If you:

• Have at least 4 years industry experience
• Have programming experience in Microsoft technologies like C#, .NET Framework, WPF
• Have a good knowledge of MVVM architecture
• Have an understanding of multithreading/parallelisation
• Are comfortable working with version control, preferably Git and Visual Studio development environment
• Have experience consuming back-end Web service APIs
• Have experience in continuous integration and delivery
• Have strong critical thinking and great communication skills in English
• Are eager to work closely with product and design
