The Premier League’s Singapore Office is looking to appoint a Community Project Manager to support the development and delivery of community football initiatives in Singapore and across the wider APAC region. The role will lead the operational delivery of impactful projects, build strong partnerships with key stakeholders, and champion safeguarding and inclusivity across all activity.

The role will work across a number of operational and administrative functions supporting the growth of community football and social impact programmes. This includes the delivery of the NEXTGEN Coach programme and other community-based initiatives designed to strengthen the local football ecosystem. The role will provide on-the-ground management of programmes, events and partnerships, ensuring activity is relevant, well-coordinated and aligned to regional priorities across APAC.

We support and provide a framework for youth development, we protect the organisation’s intellectual property, support the wider game and community programmes, undertake international development work and liaise with governing bodies and other leagues.

Our hybrid-working model also allows you some variety on your place of work, offering you the chance to work from home on some days each week. Where possible, you will attend the office or site visits in line with our company policy. All staff liaise closely with their line manager to manage their time appropriately and according to their work and team requirements. 

The Role

To provide support to the Singapore office, including:
  • Supporting the development and implementation of community football plans for Singapore and the wider APAC region.
  • Managing the operational delivery of community football initiatives including the NEXTGEN Coach programme and wider activations.
  • Supporting operational partnerships with key stakeholders, including national governing bodies, broadcasters, education institutions and delivery partners as relevant to the community football initiatives.
  • Working collaboratively with internal Premier League departments, including Policy and Social Impact, Media, Commercial and Communications teams, to support integrated delivery of community and football activity.
  • Developing and managing delivery networks, including contractors and Premier League Club personnel, ensuring high-quality programme delivery and consistent standards 
  • Leading the preparation and delivery of projects, initiatives, events and meetings, including planning, logistics and coordination.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of communications activity, working with partners to promote programmes and share impact through insight and case studies.
  • Contributing to the design and implementation of impact measurement frameworks, using data to evaluate programme success and inform continuous improvement.
  • Working with internal teams to define and track programme objectives, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy 
  • Working alongside internal departments on cross-team projects and wider business initiatives, including event planning and delivery, as required.
  • Working closely with the Premier League Safeguarding team to ensure policies and processes are in place to promote safe and inclusive environments across all programme activities, ensuring that stakeholders and participants engage in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
  • Occasional travel may be required, both locally and internationally, including to the Premier League’s office in London.

Role Requirement

  • Proven experience developing and managing partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders, including government bodies, broadcasters and football organisations. 
  • Experience managing programme budgets, operations and delivery logistics to ensure activity is delivered efficiently and to a high standard. 
  • Experience of conducting high-quality community and grassroots events involving children and young people.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience of safeguarding procedures, with the ability to apply these principles in a community sport context 
  • Experience producing high-quality reports, communications materials and proposals for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly developed organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships. 
  • Experience managing delivery teams or contractors to ensure quality assurance and consistent programme standards.
  • Ability to contribute to the development of strategic objectives and impact measurement frameworks.
  • A proactive, self-motivated and collaborative working style, with a strong commitment to inclusive practice. 
  • Excellent communication skills and a high level of emotional intelligence 
  • High level of integrity with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters
