Computer Validation Analyst I

The Computer Validation Analyst I is responsible for ensuring that computerized systems used within the organization comply with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards. This role involves planning, executing, and documenting validation activities throughout the system lifecycle.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
This job description serves only to give a broad outline of the duties required and will be renewed and amended at periodic intervals in consultation with the incumbent.
• Execute validation test cases and document results in accordance with approved protocols and procedures.
• Design and develop test cases to validate system functionality and compliance.
• Perform Build Verification Testing (BVT) and Regression Testing to ensure the system works correctly after updates or changes.
• Perform test execution for change control processes to validate system updates and ensure compliance with approved change requests.
• Identify, log, and track defects found during testing, and communicate them clearly for resolution.
• Automate test cases using approved frameworks or utilities as guided by seniors.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, participating in training, certifications, and industry forums.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to help with validation and compliance efforts.
Minimum Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
• 0–1 year of experience in software testing, including exposure to manual and automated tools.
• Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies
• Foundational SQL skills are preferred.
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Or equivalent combination of education, professional training and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job.
