Overview:
Precisely’s Summer Internship Program is a paid, part-time opportunity for undergraduate students actively enrolled in university. The program that begins July 1st and concludes September 30th. The Software Engineer Intern will work closely with the R&D team.
The intern will support key RapidCX initiatives, with a primary focus on developing and testing the new report design engine. They will help prototype and validate core components that enable users to design and generate reports. Interns will also contribute to priority backlog items such as logging, integration environments, and the Document Approval Service. They’ll support sprint refinement and analysis of historical task performance to improve estimations and planning. Their work will accelerate delivery, enhance quality, and strengthen development workflows across RapidCX.
What you will do:
- Support development and testing of the new report design engine, contributing to core reporting features.
- Help prototype, validate, and document components used for designing and generating customerfacing reports.
- Contribute to tasks related to logging, integration environments, and the Document Approval Service.
- Participate in sprint refinement and support evaluation of historical task performance to improve estimation processes.
- Work closely with senior engineers to deliver code, tests, and documentation aligned with RapidCX release milestones.
- Collaborate within the team to enhance development workflows and improve overall product quality.
What we are looking for:
- Strong interest in backend or fullstack development (Java, Python or similar).
- Ability to learn quickly and work with modern engineering practices.
- Basic understanding of APIbased systems and cloudnative architectures.
- Problem solving skills and willingness to explore technical challenges.
- Attention to detail when testing, validating, and documenting software.
- Strong communication skills and openness to feedback, consistent with Precisely’s performance expectations and values.
- Ability to work on-site at least 3 days in the office (Bielsko-Biała, Poland)
