The Engineering Department creates virtual environments that connect members and applicants who intend to move to Praxis’ city. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animations and website architecture, and will be aligned with the Praxis mission.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging and interactive animations for our website
- Update and improve the overall architecture of our website to ensure optimal performance and user experience
- Collaborate with the design and development teams to create and maintain a consistent look and feel across all pages and features
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in web development, and provide recommendations for new technologies and approaches
- Work closely with the project manager to prioritize and manage tasks, and ensure all deliverables are completed on time and to specification
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a front-end web developer
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies
- Experience with animation libraries and frameworks, such as GSAP or Lottie
- Knowledge of website architecture best practices and principles
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Alignment with the Praxis mission and values
