About Praper Media
We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with editors to design engaging visual content tailored for digital platforms. You will be responsible for creating visually compelling thumbnails that align with brand guidelines, capture audience attention, and support overall content performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design engaging and high-quality YouTube thumbnails that capture attention and encourage clicks.
- Develop creative concepts aligned with video titles, content themes, and brand guidelines.
- Create visually compelling compositions using strong typography, colour, and imagery.
- Perform photo editing, retouching, and basic manipulation to enhance visual impact.
- Ensure consistency in thumbnail style across different videos and channels.
- Collaborate with editors and content teams to align thumbnails with the overall video strategy.
- Stay updated with YouTube trends, competitor styles, and evolving digital aesthetics.
- Deliver multiple design options when required and refine based on feedback.
- Manage deadlines efficiently while maintaining high design quality.
Required skills or Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (mandatory) and Adobe Illustrator.
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in graphic design or YouTube thumbnail designing.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (for frame selection and coordination with video edits).
- Strong understanding of composition, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience creating engaging thumbnails or digital creatives for YouTube or social media platforms.
- Ability to perform photo manipulation, retouching, and basic compositing.
- Awareness of YouTube trends, digital aesthetics, and viewer engagement strategies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality designs under tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a creative team.
