Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Architect to join Praktika.

Your days will be filled by:

  • Develop and maintain a cohesive architecture strategy for Praktika’s product ecosystem, ensuring alignment across mobile, frontend, backend, and AI systems.
  • Ensure API consistency and integration across various product teams. 
  • Make informed decisions on tech stack choices, including microservices, databases, and other relevant technologies. 
  • Actively participate in grooming sessions, ensuring consistency in technical requirements and aligning them with business goals. 
  • Manage technical debt backlogs, working closely with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues. 
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement, staying abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of AI tools, LLMs, and RAG pipelines. 
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in software architecture, particularly in the realm of EdTech and generative AI. 


You would be a great fit for the role if: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 
  • 8+ years of experience in software development and architecture, with a strong background in backend technologies. 
  • Hands-on software development experience in mobile technologies is considered a big plus
  • Proven experience with microservice architecture and event-driven architectures. 
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, C#, Kotlin, Swift, Dart)
  • Strong understanding of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL. 
  • High interest in Generative AI and EdTech, with a passion for exploring emerging technologies. 
  • Software architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable. 
  • Experience with AI tools, large language models (LLMs), and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines is highly desirable. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Experience working in a startup.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
