Postman, a global leader in API development and testing, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Engineering Manager to join our innovative team in Bangalore. As a crucial member of the Platform Team, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing multi-region cloud architectures deployed in public clouds using Kubernetes, contributing to the success of our wider engineering organization.

What you'll be doing:

Technical Leadership and Team Management:

Provide strong technical leadership to the Platform Team, focusing on multi-region cloud architectures and Kubernetes.

Build, mentor, and lead a team dedicated to supporting the wider engineering organization.

Multi-Region Cloud Architecture:

Design, implement, and optimize multi-region cloud architectures on major public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Utilize Kubernetes for efficient container orchestration in multi-region deployments.

Collaboration with Engineering Teams:

Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to understand their requirements and provide technical support for platform-related initiatives.

Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the platform team.

Technical Project Management:

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects related to multi-region cloud architectures.

Collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Support and Troubleshooting:

Provide technical support and guidance to engineering teams, addressing challenges related to multi-region cloud deployments and Kubernetes.

Lead troubleshooting efforts and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

Drive the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for platform architectures, configurations, and best practices.

Promote knowledge sharing within the platform team and across the wider engineering organization.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

Implement robust monitoring solutions to track the performance of multi-region cloud architectures.

Lead optimization efforts to enhance scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

About you

Proven experience as a Technical Engineering Manager with expertise in multi-region cloud architectures and Kubernetes.

In-depth knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Strong understanding of container orchestration using Kubernetes.

Leadership experience in building and managing high-performing engineering teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to drive technical initiatives and deliver results.
