Quality Assurance (QA) Intern – Software Testing
We are looking for a curious and detail-oriented QA Intern who wants to build a strong foundation in software testing and quality engineering.
You will work closely with the engineering and product teams to ensure our applications are reliable, scalable, and deliver a great user experience.
This internship is ideal for someone who wants hands-on exposure to manual testing, automation, API testing, and real-world QA processes in a fast-paced product environment.
Key Responsibilities
Write, execute, and maintain detailed test cases based on functional requirements, user stories, or product specifications.
Execute test cases for different scenarios such as functional, regression, and usability testing to ensure the product works as expected.
Identify, report, and document bugs or defects found during testing using the company’s bug-tracking tool (e.g., JIRA).
Provide clear and reproducible steps for reported issues to assist developers in resolving them.
Work closely with developers and product managers to understand product requirements and features.
Participate in sprint meetings (daily stand-ups, sprint planning) to discuss progress and issues.
Track testing progress and ensure all tests are completed on time.
Assist in preparing test reports summarizing test results and defect status.
Participate in test cycle reviews to evaluate the overall product quality.
Assist in building automation test scripts.
Support the team in release validation and production sanity checks.

Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Basic understanding of software testing concepts
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to think from a user’s perspective while testing
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
Technical Skills (Good to Have)
Basic programming knowledge (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
Basic API testing knowledge
Understanding of Git
Knowledge of software testing concepts
