What You'll Do:
Polycam is seeking a talented and experienced Senior iOS Engineer, who is passionate about building high-performance and low-maintenance applications. As a key member of our team, you will be involved in the technical design and implementation of complex iOS projects, working closely with Product Management & Design to define problems, come up with solutions, and deliver exceptional user experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Build out and maintain Polycam’s iOS and visionOS apps
- Execute on feature creation focusing on 3D content management for individuals and teams & new and improved space/object capture
- Evolve and maintain reliable software solutions for current and future needs, developing innovative Apple Platform products and supporting the product roadmap
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and QA teams to address complex challenges and enhance the Polycam apps, ensuring an optimal user experience
- Investigate and resolve client issues independently and in collaboration with the broader team
- Create and collaborate on technical design reviews and code reviews
- Contribute to the overall Polycam culture and vision
📌 Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of engineering experience working with Apple platforms and Swift development
- 2+ years of experience building frontend with SwiftUI
- Experience with or strong interest in learning and working in visionOS
- Experience writing multi-threaded code including GCD and Swift Concurrency
- Experience with CI and ongoing code testing, including UI tests and unit tests
- You stay up to date with the latest iOS development news and technologies
- You have shipped at least one iOS app professionally
- Experience with iOS app performance optimization, metrics, Xcode Instruments, and iOS-specific debugging workflows
🌟Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience with Firebase
- Experience with Combine
- Experience with React Native
- Experience with ARKit and RealityKit
Salary Range:
The salary range for this role is $175,000 – $225,000. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary, therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options.
