Product Management Internship

We are looking for an energized student to join our Product Management team as an intern, helping to creatively solve customer problems and revolutionize the Conversational AI space. Working alongside a Senior Product Manager, you will learn key product management fundamentals in a fast-paced setting and have the opportunity to drive a feature from inception to release. As a member of our growing Product Management team, you will also gain incredible insights into Product Operations and experience working at a leading startup. 

The core of Product Management is figuring out the ‘Why’ and ‘What’ behind investments; it requires the ability to gather and analyze information across sources, distill it to communicate a story, and drive cross-functional teams towards a common goal. You do not need a technical background for this position, but a strong interest in the technology and desire to learn is a must.

PolyAI delivers exceptional customer service through lifelike voice assistants that understand customers’ pain and guide them to resolution. Our new Generative AI native voice automation platform simplifies the user experience to build, monitor and maintain these robust assistants. In this role, your focus will be on new Voice and Generative AI Safety investments, with consideration on how these should be brought into the platform.

• You are a self-starter who is excited to learn the fundamentals of product management 

• Conduct market research, identifying key themes and trends to inform investments
• Leverage data analytics tools to analyze user behavior and build reports for team use
• Conduct user interview testing, gather product feedback and build solutions that  communicate these pain points
• Create product specifications that identify problems, set goals, and define success metrics to help design and engineering teams build the solution
• Execute the product plan to meet milestones and successfully launch products

The ideal candidate will demonstrate characteristics and experiences to include:

• Must be enrolled in or will receive a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with a graduation date in 2024 or 2025
• Entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to operate independently in a growth environment
• Not afraid to fail and ask questions; brings a mentality of rapid innovation 
• High level of self-training and self-drive with high integrity, principles, and ethics
• Excellent team-building, interpersonal, and relationship management skills
