You will be:

• developing and maintaining backend applications based on written requirements and technical specifications,
• designing and implementing new features and improvements across the platform,
• writing clean, maintainable code following coding standards and best practices,
• troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining the core product and databases to ensure scalability and reliability,
• working with APIs, GraphQL, and SQL-based data solutions,
• contributing to unit and integration testing and supporting QA with acceptance tests and troubleshooting,
• working with cloud-based microservices and supporting the operation of web services,
• contributing to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing activities,
• collaborating with globally distributed, multidisciplinary teams,
• mentoring other developers and sharing technical knowledge.

 

 

Your profile:

• 6+ years of professional experience in web application backend development,
• strong hands-on experience with PHP 8+ and MySQL,
• solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and software design patterns,
• practical experience with unit and integration testing,
• good knowledge of SQL, APIs, and GraphQL,
• understanding of web product development and the full-stack development lifecycle,
• experience working with cloud-based microservices and distributed web services,
• practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery.
• good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a multidisciplinary, international environment.
• Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

 

Nice to have:

• experience leading or mentoring other developers.
• experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work.
• interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches.
