Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical architecture, focusing on scalability, security, and maintainability
• Build and deliver high-quality features across the stack, from robust backend systems to intuitive front-end interfaces
• Guide and mentor engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and collaborative problem-solving
• Collaborate with product management and cybersecurity experts to align technical solutions with business goals and user needs
• Monitor and improve system performance, addressing bottlenecks and enhancing efficiency
• Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing to meet project goals
• Ensure platform security by integrating best practices and proactively addressing vulnerabilities
• Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying new technologies to enhance the platform
• Develop and implement process improvements and best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• +8 years of programming experience
• Expertise in JavaScript development, with strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and SQL
• Experience in building data pipelines, analytics, ETL processes, and event streaming
• Strong systems and API design skills
• Proven experience designing, programming, and implementing large-scale information systems
• Strong understanding of user experience and product strategy, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business objectives
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions and influence product development strategies
• Experience with GenAI and productionizing AI models is a plus
• Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD  [$140,000.00] to [$195,000.00] per year. PlexTrac utilizes different base pay ranges for different work localities, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently based on their home market. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the specific applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s work location. In addition to a candidate’s work location, an individual’s base pay will also depend on a number of factors, such as complexity and responsibility of the posted role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
