Playtech QA team is looking for a diligent and meticulous Junior QA Engineer who is excited to work in an international environment. 

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...

• Support multiple projects and integrations across production and staging environments
• Test mobile and desktop web applications (functional and non‑functional)
• Verify production configurations and troubleshoot live issues
• Assist with integrations and UAT processes for new brands
• Create complex configurations via internal backend systems
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues
• Report and track defects in JIRA and other bug‑tracking tools
• Help maintain test environments (servers, microservices, databases, deployments)
• Create and execute test plans for projects
• Participate in sprints to ensure development goals are met
• Support production major and maintenance releases

Qualifications

• Have solid knowledge of testing methodologies
• Possess strong problem‑solving and initiative skills
• Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Communicate effectively in written and spoken English
• Have basic knowledge of SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
• Can perform basic network troubleshooting, including SSH tools
• Understand Agile/Scrum development processes
• Are familiar with monolithic and microservices architectures
• Have practical experience with tools such as TestRail, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Grafana, Cursor AI, PostgreSQL, PL/SQL Developer, Kafka UI, Redis, JIRA, Atlassian, Git, Postman, and Browser DevTools

You'll get extra points for...

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Previous experience in technical support or a similar role
• 1+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
• Practical experience testing web applications
• Hands‑on knowledge and practical use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor) for:

1. Prompt crafting - designing clear, effective instructions for AI systems
2. AI‑assisted test design - generating test cases, edge scenarios, and synthetic data
3. Intelligent troubleshooting - analyzing logs and diagnosing production issues with AI support
4. Critical validation - ensuring AI outputs are accurate, reliable, and aligned with real‑world requirements
