Your tasks :
Study additive manufacturing technologies to understand the principles, capabilities, and limitations of relevant equipment
Evaluate and test candidate materials to determine their suitability for withstanding the thermal and mechanical demands of the injection molding process
Define and document process parameters to ensure repeatability and reproducibility of prototype production
Develop and implement testing protocols to validate the mechanical, dimensional, and thermal performance of prototype inserts before production use
Characterize prototype performance boundaries by conducting controlled experiments to identify design, material, and process limitations
Your profile :
Being registered in Material / Polymer / Mechanical Engineer at ACAM / RWTH Aachen University
Being open to a 6 month - 1 year internship
Being highly motivated and autonomous
