Position type: Hourly
Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals is hiring a skilled CNC Set-Up Technician to join our 2nd shift operation. We are looking for someone who has experience doing changeovers, setups, inspections, and can hit the ground running.
Responsibilities:
Install tooling/work holding per instructions into the CNC equipment based on setup work instructions
Set up the CNC equipment with correct work holding, tooling, and parts to perform the job
Troubleshooting issues with machine programming
Collaborate with engineers, project managers and other team members
Inspect and maintain equipment
Qualifications:
3-5 years CNC Set up experience or related machining experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical, mathematical and computer skills
Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics and other documents
GD&T; Understanding how to use datums, feature control frames, and symbols to describe the conditions and tolerances of a part- a plus
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
