We’re looking for a talented Cloud Infrastructure Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join our team. This role is focused on developing robust and scalable cloud solutions, with a strong emphasis on infrastructure as code (IaC), cloud automation, and architecture development. Position Overview:
As a Cloud Infrastructure SDE, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing cloud solutions. Your primary focus will be on building infrastructure as code (IaC) and automating cloud infrastructure deployment at scale. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop reliable, secure, and highly available cloud environments, helping to optimize our cloud architecture for growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud solutions to support scalable, high-performance infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate cloud resource provisioning.
• Collaborate with the DevOps and development teams to architect cloud infrastructure that aligns with best practices for security, performance, and scalability.
• Optimize cloud environments for cost, performance, and availability across different cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Drive the development and automation of cloud infrastructure tasks, such as resource scaling, load balancing, and cloud networking.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to security policies and best practices, implementing encryption, identity management, and access controls.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud performance issues, recommending improvements to ensure efficient operations.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and continuously seek to improve the efficiency and scalability of our cloud infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer (SDE) with a focus on cloud infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Proficiency in automating cloud resource provisioning and management.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and architecture best practices.
• Strong programming and scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization strategies and resource management.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, though this is not the primary focus of the role.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience in a collaborative, agile development environment.
