Senior Product Consultant - London Based

Location: London, England, United Kingdom

Workplace: remote

Employment Type: full

Description

We’re looking for a Senior Product Consultant to join our growing team in the UK. You’ll bring together your industry expertise, product strategy skills, and understanding of technology to help organisations identify opportunities, shape new products, and turn ideas into real business impact. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams across product, engineering, data, and AI, helping take initiatives from strategy and discovery through to delivery and scale.

This is a great opportunity for someone who knows the Insurance and Financial Services world, understands how these businesses operate, and wants to play a key role in shaping how technology and AI can transform them.

Responsibilities:

  • Define product visions, strategies, and roadmaps for insurance and financial services clients, grounded in their business models, commercial objectives, and economics.
  • Analyse core business processes such as underwriting, claims, pricing, and distribution, identifying where AI and technology can create measurable business value.
  • Translate business needs and challenges into AI use cases, product concepts, and compelling business cases that support informed investment decisions.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of complex technical and AI development projects, from initial discovery and use case validation through to MVP and rollout.
  • Act as Product Owner or Product Lead towards engineering, data, and AI teams, defining scope, requirements, priorities, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage delivery plans, risks, dependencies, and budgets, ensuring high-quality outputs that meet both business and client expectations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and C-level executives, building strong relationships and providing strategic guidance.
  • Lead workshops, strategic discussions, and executive presentations, bringing clarity to complex business, product, and technology topics.
  • Support pre-sales and business development activities in the UK, contributing to proposals, pitches, and follow-on opportunities.
  • Help build our UK team and strengthen our presence in the market, contributing to its growth and development.
  • Mentor consultants and share your insurance domain expertise across Impact Studios, helping strengthen our collective capabilities.

Requirements

  • Define product visions, strategies, and roadmaps for insurance and financial services clients.
  • Analyse core processes such as underwriting, claims, pricing, and distribution to identify opportunities for AI and technology.
  • Translate business needs into AI use cases, product concepts, and business cases.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology and AI projects, from discovery and validation through to MVP and rollout.
  • Act as Product Owner or Product Lead, defining scope, requirements, priorities, and acceptance criteria with engineering, data, and AI teams.
  • Manage delivery plans, risks, dependencies, and budgets to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and C-level executives.
  • Lead workshops, strategic discussions, and executive presentations.
  • Support UK pre-sales and business development, including proposals, pitches, and follow-on opportunities.
  • Help build the UK team and strengthen its market presence.
  • Mentor consultants and share insurance domain expertise across Impact Studios.

What you'll bring

  • Ownership: You take responsibility for outcomes and drive initiatives through to completion.
  • Strategic thinking: You can see the bigger picture while remaining comfortable getting into the detail.
  • Commercial mindset: You understand how product and technology decisions translate into business value.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: You enjoy working in a growing environment and helping build new capabilities and propositions.
  • Pragmatism: You focus on what will create real impact rather than technology for technology's sake.
  • Leadership: You can influence, challenge, mentor, and bring people together around a common goal.
  • Adaptability: You are comfortable working across different industries, stakeholders, and fast-changing environments.
