- Actively participate in the hiring process, ensuring that only the best talent joins the Pipedrive engineering department
- Drive and lead process improvements and/or engineering initiatives from conception to deployment in the entire engineering department
- Advocate for advanced and modern software development and organizational practices
- Participate in budget planning and control in areas such as training and events
- Represent Pipedrive externally with different types of audiences: 3rd party vendors, partners, engineering meetups, conferences, etc
- Being a role model for engineers and other managers in engineering
Does this sound like you?
- A solid background in software engineering with 3+ years of experience in a leadership role within the tech industry, as an Engineering Manager, Team Lead, or in a similar role with a focus on people management
- Proven track record of leading, mentoring and inspiring engineering teams, including hiring, onboarding and coaching engineers, while being committed to building high-performing, diverse and engaged teams
- Strong foundation in software engineering with a comprehensive understanding of modern software development practices
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A proactive mindset with a strong "can-do" attitude to drive initiatives forward
- Ability to define and execute a strategic vision for the tribe, aligning engineering efforts with business goals
- Proficient project management skills, while having the ability to manage ambiguity and multiple priorities at the same time
- Bachelor’s Degree in a computer science related field
