Reporting Developer

Location: Cairo, Cairo, Jordan

• Develop and maintain tools that automate report generation in Word and Excel.
• Design and update standardized templates for technical and analytical reports.
• Integrate data from internal databases, processing tools, and Excel sheets.
• Implement logic for dynamic tables, charts, and conditional formatting.
• Support teams with report-related software issues and workflow improvements.
• Participate in code review, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with software, data, and analysis teams to ensure accuracy and usability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in C#/.NET development.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Interop, OpenXML, or related APIs.
• Strong understanding of OOP and clean code principles.
• Familiarity with data processing, Excel formulas/macros, and chart automation.

Good to have

• Experience with Python, VBA, or Power Automate.
• Knowledge of WPF and MVVM for internal desktop tools.
• Understanding of engineering reporting workflows.
• Experience with TeamCity, Git, and CI/CD practices.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
• Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
• Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
• Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
• Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
