Project Manager
Location: Amman, Amman, Jordan
PIPECARE Group is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee in line inspection projects for our Middle East operations, based in Jordan.By providing technology and service focused solutions to the international arena of the oil and gas industry, the PIPECARE Group of companies has been helping our customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets for over 25 years.

Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, monitoring, control, and successful completion of EPC and Oil & Gas service projects. The role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contractual, technical, quality, and regulatory requirements while maintaining strong client relationships and achieving financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Lead the end-to-end management of EPC and Oil & Gas service projects.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
- Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and milestones.
- Ensure effective project mobilization and execution in accordance with client and company requirements.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when required.
- Ensure project completion within approved cost, schedule, and quality targets.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout project execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Conduct project review meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Manage client expectations and address project-related issues proactively.
- Support business development teams during proposal preparation and project handover phases.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, revenues, and profitability.
- Review contracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Manage project invoicing, payment follow-up, and cash flow forecasting.
- Identify opportunities for margin improvement and cost optimization.
- Prepare monthly project financial reports and forecasts.
- Evaluate and manage contractual risks and claims.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain project risk registers and contingency plans.
- Proactively manage technical, commercial, operational, and HSE risks.
- Escalate critical project risks to senior management when necessary.
- Coordinate activities among engineering, procurement, construction, inspection, commissioning, and operations teams.
- Ensure technical deliverables meet contractual requirements and industry standards.
- Review engineering submissions, project documentation, and technical reports.
- Support resolution of technical challenges during project execution.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
- Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Evaluate subcontractor performance and contract compliance.
- Monitor vendor and subcontractor schedules and deliverables.
- Ensure procurement activities support overall project milestones.
HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Management
- Promote a strong safety culture across all project activities.
- Ensure full compliance with client, company, and regulatory HSE requirements.
- Participate in HSE reviews, audits, and incident investigations.
- Ensure project teams adhere to all safety procedures and environmental standards.
- Achieve project safety objectives with zero lost-time incidents whenever possible.
- Ensure project activities comply with applicable QA/QC standards.
- Monitor project quality performance and initiate corrective actions where required.
- Support audits, inspections, and quality reviews.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, project specifications, and customer requirements.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams across engineering, procurement, field operations, HSE, and quality functions.
- Allocate resources effectively to achieve project objectives.
- Mentor and develop project team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching where necessary.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Prepare and present project status reports to management and clients.
- Track KPI performance and project milestones.
- Maintain project documentation and records.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance and reporting requirements.
- Conduct lessons-learned reviews at project completion.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial, Petroleum, or related discipline).
- Master's Degree in Project Management or Business Administration is an advantage.
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- PRINCE2
- PMI-SP
- Certified EPC Project Management Certifications
- NEBOSH / IOSH (preferred for HSE awareness)
Senior Project Manager
- 10-15+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, Pipeline, Facility Construction, Industrial Projects, or Energy Services.
- Last 3 to 5 years in hands on management of EPC or Oil & Gas projects.
- 7-10 years of relevant project management experience.
- Proven track record managing multidiscipline projects from award to close-out.
- Project Planning & Scheduling (Primavera P6, MS Project, Odoo).

Success Profile
The successful Project Manager will consistently deliver In line inspection projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong customer relationships, maximizing project profitability, and ensuring full compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
- Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
- Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
- Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
- Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
