What you’ll do 

At Pindrop, we commit to creating Evangelical Customers for Life; because of this, customer experience is at the forefront of everything we do. To help us build and scale the engineering team in Ukraine, we are now looking for an experienced Sr. Director of Engineering in Ukraine. You will be responsible for building, mentoring, and managing a high performing engineering team that delivers innovative features as per the product roadmap. In this role, you can expect to…

  • Hire and manage the engineers for Pindrop platform and products
  • Lead your teams to deliver with a high level of executive and achievement
  • Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans
  • Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration
  • Set strategic goals for increased developer productivity and efficiency
  • Work with engineers, product, and project managers in the development of technical solutions and road maps
  • Analyze current processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary
  • Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to engineers
  • Work with software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended

Your skill-set 

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related field
  • 10+ years in a senior engineering leadership role
  • Experience leading a team of 50+ engineers, architects, and managers
  • Demonstrated history working within a geographically distributed team 
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments required (ideally AWS and GCP)
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure, architecture, etc. 
  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software
  • Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives
  • Proven ability to plan and manage the processes for maximum efficiency and productivity
  • Ability to streamline or implement new structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands

Nice to have skills

  • Experience managing teams supporting AWS and Google Cloud platform
  • Experience leading and or supporting platform and product engineering teams, driving alignment
  • Proven ability to develop innovative processes that lead to increased productivity
