Description

Picsart Infrastructure team is seeking an outstanding Site Reliability Engineer to help build capabilities and services across various technologies in a hybrid cloud environment. The new developing team is committed to supporting the Picsart business by building technological capabilities that enable undisrupted business operations and optimize infrastructure efficiency. As a senior team member, you will be at the forefront of tackling challenging problems and addressing diverse needs. Your role will ensure high availability and reliability, enabling service teams to adapt and manage their services in a scalable, efficient, and optimized manner within a hybrid infrastructure owning the processes/implementation end to end.

In this role, you will closely collaborate with multiple engineering teams, be part of Picsart Infrastructure Operators, and act as a bridge between engineering and infrastructure.

You will

  • Operate, monitor, and triage all aspects of our production and non-production environments.
  • Prepare alert handling procedures and runbooks.
  • Automate deployment and orchestration of services into the cloud environment as well as other routine processes.
  • Actively participate in capacity planning and disaster recovery exercises.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient infrastructure in a hybrid cloud environment.
  • Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure the health and performance of services.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and improve developer productivity.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure services are designed with reliability and scalability in mind.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of incidents and contribute to the post-mortem process.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure high availability of services.
  • Drive improvements in system performance, reliability, and security.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in SRE and DevOps.
  • Contribute to production code to improve the reliability and performance of services.
  • Inventory and contribute to the process of standardizing tools and techniques used

About you

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or Infrastructure-focused roles.
  • Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Oracle) and hybrid environments.
  • Proficiency in Linux systems administration.
  • Expertise in monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems and processes.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and service mesh technologies.
  • Experience with logging and tracing tools.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to cloud infrastructure.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
