Java Backend Engineer @ Integrations team

As a Java Backend Engineer, you will join our cross-functional Integrations team, collaborating closely with frontend engineers, backend engineers, QAs, and a product manager. You will help shape the future of our integrations—a platform that connects Phrase TMS with external systems and services. You will take an active role in ensuring our systems operate seamlessly in production environments.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Develop and maintain Java backend services that integrate with third-party systems.

What you need:

• Experience developing Java and Spring Boot applications in cloud-based microservice environments.
• Strong understanding of REST principles and best practices.
• Proficiency with databases (we use MongoDB) and experience with queuing/messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as JUnit, Testcontainers, or WireMock.
