In this role, you have the opportunity to

Develop and coordinate the key sub-categories strategies within the Bill Of Material(BOM) and the markets Globally.

You will be accountable for Quality, Total Cost of Ownership including material costs, long-term assurance of supply, and overall supplier performance.

You are responsible for, but not limited to

In this role, you will be responsible for 300M€ Global spent (>700 suppliers), through 3 sub-categories: Medical accessories, Medical devices, and Medical solutions. It includes Quality/Regulatory, Cost, and deliveries. These components are dedicated to the factories, the service organization as well as the Philips sales in the different markets.

You will directly manage a team of 7 Global Supplier Account Managers and work through the local procurement teams in the markets.

You will act as a real Leader and strategist:

  • Ensure end-to-end strategy definition and execution considering the Business Units, the Service organization, and the sales/commercial operations in the markets.

  • Challenge and optimize the distribution models to secure the best TCO.

  • Develop and guide their team, working hand in hand with the Procurement Business Partners, the Procurement Sourcing Engineers, and the market stakeholders.

  • Drive continuous improvement challenging the status quo and proposing creative options to the internal stakeholders.  

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Background or experience in medical devices or accessories

  • Minimum of 8 years in Procurement

  • Flexible approach and adherence to deadlines

  • Evidence of strong leadership skills and People Management experience (Hire, Coach, Train)

  • Experience in Global roles and matrix environment

  • Proven Strategic thinking capability and execution experience

  • Creative mindset – Out-of-the-box thinking

  • Strong communication/presentation skills and ability to influence

  • Availability to travel up to 25 %
