Job summary & overview (Purposes):
Responsible for the creation, implementation, and life-cycle management of the system architecture in MR domain. Driving harmonization and leveraging common and/or domain specific platforms and technology choices. Devising, driving, and contributing to the regulatory strategy for their area. Challenge & contribute to, business constraints and processes related to system architecture, to further improve upon the delivery on Philips’ strategy.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
· Translation of user needs and requirements (including clinical, serviceability, reliability and manufacturability) into MR system & technology requirements. Develop technology and technical solutions towards customers’ needs.
· Harmonizes common features, system functions and improvement solutions across relevant products.
· Lead system-level design reviews.
· Leads trouble-shooting activities in system-level defect analysis and remediation during System Integration, Verification and Validation phases.
Job Requirements & Skills:
· Bachelor degree or above in physics, electric engineering, mechanical Deep understanding of overall MR technology, including component technology, system integration, MR physics and imaging quality.
· Good knowledge of electromagnetic theory and familiar with its simulation tools.
· Intensive experience in MR preferred.
· Familiar with the typical MR clinical applications.
· Familiar with the simulation tools.
· Demonstrated ability to influence indirect resources.
· Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
· Excellent technical writing and presentation skills to multiple levels of management. Fluency in English.
