Your role:
In order to create a positive customer experience, this role is responsible for the creation of meaningful information and compelling, actionable business insights leveraging existing/ new data sources, employing advanced analytics, modelling and AI techniques. The insights should drive business decisions and contribute to the growth of Philips. Uses latest analytical techniques such as machine learning, deep learning and natural language processing. Keeps abreast of technical developments and practices in own field through literature, courses/trainings, technical contacts, and competitive environment. Applies agile software development methods as a member of agile teams. All to ensure great digital solutions are developed for our customers.

Job Responsibilities

·Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, campaign optimization and other business outcomes

·Work with product management to develop data use cases and embed predictive models in workflows on resource constrained platforms and cloud enabled.

·Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning and deep learning techniques

·Collaborates with Data Engineers to enhance data collection and ingestion/curation techniques to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems

·Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis

·Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy. Life cycle management of predictive models.

·Adherence to compliance procedures in accordance with regulatory standards, requirements, and policies. Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources security, and metadata.


You're the right fit if:

  • 7-10 years experience in AI and Data Science field
  • Master's in computers, electronics, electrical engineering or PhD in relevant streams
  • Experience in developing NLP algorithms, AI based CV applications for imaging algorithms(UNET, YOLO etc)
  • Experience in using Gen AI techniques like Agentic Frameworks, Auto Encoders, Transformers, LLMs, RAG Architecture
  • Experience in NLP techniques for text representation (such as n-grams, bag of words, sentiment analysis etc), semantic extraction techniques, data structures and modeling
  • Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms like k-NN, SVM, Random Forest, privacy models, etc.
  • Understanding exploratory data processing techniques such as cleaning and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
  • Understanding of state-of-the-art computer vision, NLP and AI for imaging algorithms
  • Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
  • Experience in building and optimizing reactive and predictive models with Machine Learning techniques
  • Experience with one or more analytic software tools or languages like Python, R
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks, like Keras or PyTorch and Deep Learning based libraries for imaging
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
