ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join Global Digital Support and Operations Team as an Operations Technical Project Manager.

Our team provides the capabilities needed to manage both day-to-day requirements, as well as full lifecycle management ensuring that our assets are always available to our clients. Additionally, we always strive to improve our process and optimize our workflow as we keep an eye on operational efficiency. Through our team of talented technologists, we provide solution and service delivery, technology platforms managements, and optimization and application support excellence.

The Operations Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing support and operations projects assigned. This role will ensure close alignment with requirements of the solution delivery teams and will work closely with all stakeholders to ensure appropriate feedback loops are in place and exercised frequently to inform engineering, delivery, and operations teams of potential opportunities for improvement. This role will participate and contribute as a team member, manage vendor partner deliverables, collaborate with other support teams, drive continues improvements, and ensure our solutions are supported with the highest level of customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Web Development and Security, particularly in Drupal, along with proficiency in other leading web publishing platforms such as Adobe Edge Services and Adobe Sites.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and mentor a team of support engineers and web developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

  • Demonstrate hands-on expertise in Drupal development, particularly in managing security updates and upgrades at scale across multiple websites.

  • Implement and oversee robust security measures to safeguard our web properties, including regular security audits, patch management, and incident response.

  • Manage and optimize our web publishing platforms, including Adobe Edge Services and Adobe Sites, ensuring seamless performance and reliability.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve support and operations processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and content teams, to support their needs and requirements.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and configurations to facilitate knowledge sharing and troubleshooting.

  • Take leadership role in application automation and other high critical initiatives

  • Manage and report team progress related to the work efforts of responsible areas.

  • Partner with Solution Delivery and Engineering leads to define and implement supportability requirements and manage transition of projects to long-term support.

  • Prepare and deliver operational updates to business stakeholder groups and solution delivery leads

 BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Web Development and Technical management, with a focus on Drupal and other leading web publishing platforms.

  • Strong proficiency in Drupal development, with a deep understanding of its architecture, modules, and best practices.

  • Extensive experience in managing security updates and patches across Drupal and other web platforms, with a solid understanding of web security principles and practices.

  • Ability to lead and inspire a team, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent written, interpersonal and oral communication skills, communicate and liaise broadly across functions and the global organization.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.

  • Experience in project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

  • Commitment to staying updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in web development and security.

  • Experience with Drupal, AWS, Cloudflare, and Github Actions

  • Experience managing vendors and contracted resources in both a staff augmentation and outsourcing model.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Process-oriented with strong organization, project management and coordination skills.

  • ITIL/PMP certified.

  • Ability to adapt to changing working conditions and work assignments, to be open, and motivated to learn and adopt new ideas and concepts.

  • Knowledge of database, storage, hosting, cloud, application, analytics and services technologies.

  • Solid understanding of web development technologies, including PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Drupal certification(s) and/or participation in relevant industry conferences and communities is preferred.

  • Able to work remotely with a team spanning many time zones
