The Website Development Sprint Manager supports the execution of website enhancements, optimizations and bug fixes across our B2C, multi-site e-commerce ecosystem. Sitting on the business side of the organization, this role serves as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and our external development agency, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements that drive sprint execution and measurable outcomes. While the agency owns sprint execution and technical delivery, this role owns intake, business requirements documentation and outcome tracking.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Serve as the primary business partner and day-to-day point of contact for our external website development agency, aligning internal priorities with sprint capacity, timelines and delivery expectations
  • Collaborate with internal teams (ex: site merch, UX, business strategy, customer care, analytics IT, etc) to gather, clarify and challenge business needs, translating ideas into well-defined, actionable requirements
  • Author and maintain clear business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and supporting documentation to guide development work
  • Partner closely with the Sr. Site Operations Manager to manage intake, backlog grooming, prioritization and roadmap alignment across multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Participate in sprint and larger development project management, including planning, refinement, solutioning sessions, demos and retrospectives to ensure business intent is understood and reflected in delivered work
  • Ensure sprint and larger project work is delivered on time and accurate
  • Coordinate QA, UAT and launch readiness activities, ensuring releases meet business expectations and are prepared for production deployment
  • Track sprint outcomes, release performance and delivery metrics, connecting completed work back to business goals and KPIs
  • Identify and clearly communicate risks, dependencies and blockers across teams and vendors; proactively drive alignment and resolution to keep work moving forward
  • Maintain clear, organized documentation of scope, timelines, decisions, risks and delivery status to support transparency and accountability
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by refining workflows, documentation standards, intake processes and agency collaboration models
  • Act as a trusted partner and advocate for both business stakeholders and the development team, balancing speed, quality and impact

COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong agency partnership and vendor management skills
  • Clear, structured, requirements discovery and documentation
  • Effective prioritization, tradeoff assessment and decision-making
  • Operational execution with strong ownership and follow-through
  • Clear, confident communication across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving and risk identification
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Process-oriented mindset with a continuous improvement mentality
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving clarity

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in E-Commerce, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in digital project management, e-commerce operations, or agile delivery support, or related role
  • Experience working with cross-functional business teams and external vendors or development agencies
  • Proficient in business requirements gathering, documentation and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with sprint-based workflows and digital project tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud preferred
  • Apparel knowledge & luxury brand experience strongly preferred

If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
