DevOps Engineer

Petcube, the leader in connected pet care devices, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team and drive the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud infrastructure.

As part of Petcube, you’ll help shape intelligent systems that connect pet parents with their furry companions, ensuring seamless performance and an exceptional user experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure architectures for cloud-based services.
• Manage end-to-end DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and system monitoring.
• Optimize MySQL database performance for large-scale data handling.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of backend services.
• Ensure reliability and performance across distributed systems.
• Implement security best practices in software development and cloud environments.

 Requirements 

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering.
• Expertise with Kubernetes, Helm charts, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency in CI/CD principles and tools.
• Strong knowledge of database optimization, particularly MySQL.
• Familiarity with PHP (Symfony framework).
• Experience with system monitoring and logging tools for distributed devices.

 Will be a plus 

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.
• Experience with video streaming or real-time communication technologies.
