Senior MEP Engineer
Location: Remote (United Arab Emirates)

The Opportunity
- We're looking for a highly capable, hands-on Senior MEP Engineer. This role is open to all nationalities (UAE / Gulf experience preferred).
What you'll do
- Manage construction, installation & supervision of all mechanical systems
- Perform detailed engineering calculations & provide technical expertise
- Prepare & review Material Submittals ensuring compliance with specifications & consultant/client requirements
- Review & confirm Shop Drawings ensuring design intent, specification compliance & authority regulations
- Review design drawings, verify applicability & ensure coordination with architectural, structural, electrical, ID drawings
- Ensure full compliance with project specifications, codes & standards
- Apply expert knowledge across:
• Chilled Water Systems (Airside & CHW side)
• Plumbing & Drainage Systems
• Domestic Water Supply Systems
• Central Hot Water Systems & Filtration
• Firefighting Systems
• BMS & Systems Control Integration - Troubleshoot & resolve system-related issues effectively
- Oversee testing, commissioning & operation of mechanical & control systems
- Identify critical areas, review design & initiate RFIs to resolve gaps/conflicts early
- Provide commercial & technical input including cost-cutting & value engineering solutions
- Coordinate with Architects, Interior Designers, Structural, Electrical & other trades for seamless MEP integration
- Coordinate with consultants, main contractors & suppliers for approvals & technical clarifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 7–10 years strong MEP experience (high-rise / commercial / villa projects in UAE preferred)
- Deep expertise in chilled water, plumbing, drainage, hot water, firefighting & BMS systems
- Proficiency in preparing/reviewing shop drawings, submittals & RFIs
- Excellent knowledge of DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence & Dubai Green Building Regulations
- Strong engineering calculation & troubleshooting ability
- Multi-disciplinary coordination experience
- Value engineering & cost optimization skills
- Excellent communication, reporting & leadership abilities
