Overview The Manager of Software Engineering will play a pivotal role in software development activities and long-term initiative planning and collaboration across the Strategy & Transformation (S&T) organization. Software Engineering is the corner stone of scalable digital transformation across PepsiCo’s value chain. This leader will deliver the end-to-end software development experience, deliver high quality software as part of the DevOps process, and have accountability for our business operations. The leader in this role will provide technical oversight and direction to our software development team to ensure we deliver the best possible software solutions and ensure they are generating value through cost savings or incremental value. This leader will work closely with the user experience, product, IT, and process engineering teams to develop new products and prioritize deliver solutions across S&T core priorities. Responsibilities Create the vision and guide a team of engineers to build and support digital products and applications (DPA) across S&T core priorities. Drive partnerships with User Experience, Product Management, IT, Data & Analytics, Emerging Tech, Innovation, and Process Engineering teams to deliver the Digital Products portfolio. Develop software development strategy utilizing industry standards. Create roadmap and timing of implementation of the roadmap based on business requirements and strategy. Lead multi-discipline, high-performance work teams distributed across remote locations effectively. Build, manage, develop, and mentor a team of engineers. Interact with various peers across the company to build consensus for solution. Develop and expand DPA capabilities through a customer obsessed, services-driven digital solutions platform that leverages data and AI to deliver automated and personalized experiences. Manage and appropriately escalate delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes tied to the engineering initiatives to the stakeholders. Interact with key business partners to recommend solutions that best meet the strategic needs of the business. Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $106,400 - $178,100. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (preferred). Minimum 10 years of relevant software development and engineering management experience. 4+ years of hands-on experience with modern web frontend technologies, including React.js and Node.js. 6+ years of experience with databases, including RDBMS (Oracle, MSSQL, Azure SQL) and NoSQL (Couchbase, MongoDB, Cosmos DB). 4+ years of experience managing diverse teams of developers. 4+ years of experience in Agile projects, with expertise in Agile ceremonies, Kanban boards, and CI/CD processes. Strong knowledge of multi-tier and service-oriented architecture, event-driven/messaging solutions, HTTP protocols, and REST APIs. Experience driving best practices in code reviews, design reviews, and architecture reviews. Ability to make metrics-driven decisions across all phases of the SDLC. Strong working knowledge of cloud platforms, with Azure experience preferred. Experience with mission-critical, 24x7 systems and high-throughput SaaS/cloud-native architectures. Experience implementing and consuming large-scale web services. Prior experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) in Supply Chain domain is a plus. Strong verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams. Qualities Strong attention to detail and extremely well-organized Ability to lead development team as sr. software engineers in an Agile project. Ability to work in collaborative environment with diverse team and co-workers. Proactively identifies future gap in solution, looks for constructive solutions and build alignment to in solving with constructive partnership with EA, SME’s, product owner and scrum leads. Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities. Ability to be able to interface with the business and priorities work for team. Ability to work cross functionally with product, service design and operations teams across the organization. Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to Engineering services, education, and support. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to navigate through a complex and matrixed internal environment. Ability to work collaboratively with regional and global partners in other functional units. Ability to navigate a complex organization and ability to influence at senior level. Echo Jobs has been exceptional in my job hunt where it provides one platform to job hunt and I don't have to open 10 websites just to look for a job. It has also helped me focus much on the job skill and the location filtering out the onsite jobs and remote ones. The only feature that I would request is to display fully remote jobs that are not restricted to a country since the one available shows ie, Remote, US yet. But if it could show remote only, that would be helpful not only to me but to other people applying for full remote and not tied to only US candidates

Simply put, it's the most up to date tech jobs aggregator I’ve found. I'm like... "I don't have to check 10+ jobs boards daily just to see if there's a new job listing? sign me up!" The filters are also quite helpful! The UI is very clean and straightforward. Love it!
