Lead Data Engineer

Overview Pepsico is looking for Teradata / Azure Data Engineer to join S/4 transformation /cloud migration team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in SQL, Teradata architecture , UNIX scripting, Informatica with Azure knowledge an add on. As an Teradata Developer , resource will be responsible for designing, developing BTEQ’s, and analyzing data from multiple sources like S/4 , SAP BW , ECC, external sources as well as tuning the processes for business applications, business intelligence, analytics, and reporting needs. Utilize experience with SAP BW, native Hana, BW/4HANA, Unix, and various ETL and data ingestion technologies. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, meeting all project requirements and adhering to enterprise architecture standards. Lead EDW projects and resources, including driving innovation and facilitating rapid experimentation. Qualifications 10+ years of overall technology experience that includes at least 8+ years of Hands-on experience in working with Teradata , Unix, Informatica. 8+ years of experience with Data Warehousing - S/4 Hana , ADLS, Oracle/SQL and Data Analytics tools. Skilled in preparing complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for data loading. Good understanding of SAP business processes and master data Experience with SAP BW, native Hana, BW/4HANA, Teradata, and various ETL and data ingestion technologies. 6+ years of experience in SQL optimization and performance tuning. Teradata Certification is preferred. Performance tuning the scripts to meet the application requirements, Experience with integration of multi cloud services with on-premises technologies. Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building high-volume ETL/ELT pipelines. Experience building/operating highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets. Familiarity with business intelligence tools (such as PowerBI). BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other technical fields.
