Overview Title: Frito Lay Canada Warehouse Robot Technican - Taber Overview: The Taber robot tech will contribute to the success of PepsiCo Foods Canada through providing leadership in the operations of our warehouse functions. Compensation: $24.96 per hour Responsibilities Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Ability to troubleshoot and maintain the JMP and Wynright robots working efficiently with minimum downtime (remote palletizing robots) Perform timely troubleshooting, fix robot faults, unjam lanes to ensure continuous flow of product. Facilitate with warehouse and manufacturing techs for optimal case assignment to robots. Job functions include timely resolution of robot faults, maintaining and cleaning warehouse equipment, input work orders for equipment breakdowns and act as a relief warehouse loader. Ability to obtain a forklift license. Good employment history, as measured by attendance, involvement with teams / committees/ clean driving record. Ability to lift +25lbs at all levels. Completing Quality / Food Safety training and adhering to the Food Safety programs Attendance in warehouse team meetings as required. Ensure safety standards and practices are achieved and improved. Role model for behaviors based on co-operation, collaboration, and excellence. Work cross-functionally with other areas of the plant and provide input to team decisions. Ensure that sanitation and food safety guidelines are followed. Observe Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), Good Warehouse Practices (GWP’s) and provide GMP Support end of week sanitation duties and preventative maintenance (TPM) responsibilities as required. Qualifications Qualifications: Demonstrated leadership capabilities & leading for results through others. High level of skill in working as a team player. Ability to motivate self and others to improve performance. Previous experience working with robots and troubleshooting equipment errors. Driving license and clean driving record is an asset Forklift certification will be provided previous experience an asset Mechanical aptitude. High degree of organization skills and attention to detail. Ability to understand the whole business and the impact warehouse has on it.
