Electronics & Digital Process Lead

Location: Kefar Sava, Israel

Overview (English) At SodaStream, part of PepsiCo, we are looking for a IoT & Digital Lead to join our Global R&D team. The IoT & Digital Lead will be responsible for leading the organization's electronics and connected product development strategy across the SWM portfolio. This role will drive the development of innovative consumer products, build and strengthen in-house electronics capabilities and lead cross functional collaboration with global stakeholders, external partners and engineering teams from concept through production. #sodastream Responsibilities (English) • Lead IoT and digital product development initiatives across the SWM Electronics portfolio - making decisions and execute • Drive end-to-end PCBA design, embedded firmware development and hardware-software integration - making decisions and execute • Build and scale the organization’s in-house electronics development capability - making decisions and execute • Partner with EMS contractors and external electronics vendors to support development, validation, and production readiness - execute • Support technical decision-making, component sourcing, and certification readiness for electronic products - Consultation and making decisions • Guide the development of connected products, including BLE, Wi-Fi, cloud connectivity and app integration, where applicable - making decisions and execute Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, including Design, Digital, Marketing, Machine Development and DTV, to ensure successful product integration, alignment and value delivery. Qualifications (English) B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering – mandatory 10+ years of experience in electronics R&D, embedded systems or hardware-software integration, ideally within consumer products or adjacent industries Strong hands-on experience leading PCBA design, firmware development and electronic component sourcing Proven track record of building in-house electronics capability or transitioning development from outsourced to internally owned models Experience with IoT-enabled consumer devices, including BLE, Wi-Fi, cloud connectivity and app integration, is strongly preferred Experience managing EMS contractors, electronics partners and regulatory certification processes, including CE, FCC, EMC and RoHS Proven experience working in a global, cross-functional environment with international stakeholders. Fluent English (spoken and written) – mandatory.
