Deputy Director - Teamcenter Development

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Teamcenter Development Lead to spearhead custom development, configuration, and support activities across all PLM modules relevant to the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. This role is part of a strategic PLM transformation initiative and will be responsible for leading a team of developers (internal and external) to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions within Siemens Teamcenter and integrations with other ERP systems. Responsibilities Lead a team of developers in delivering high-quality Teamcenter solutions, specific to the CPG template. Oversee custom development, configuration, and support across PLM modules including ILM, BOM, Formula Management, Workflows, Active Workspace (AWC), and ERP integrations. Ensure alignment with business goals and technical standards throughout the PLM transformation journey. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, solution architects, and ERP teams. Manage workload distribution, performance tracking, and delivery timelines for the development team. Provide hands-on technical guidance when needed, especially in complex or critical development tasks. Drive continuous improvement in development practices, code quality, and system performance. Qualifications Candidate should have 11-15 years of overall experience Siemens Teamcenter technical expertise with the CPG template: Configuration vs. Customization Workflow & Data Model Design Integrations Upgrades & Release Mgt. Integration and Data Mgt: APIs/ Middleware Enterprise systems integrations Data migration/ transformation Software Development Leadership and Mgt experience over areas with technical skills Familiarity with governance and standards best practices Ability to balance technical oversight with people and process leadership in order to deliver high-quality code Team Leadership & Mentorship Communication & Stakeholder Alignment Project & Delivery Management Problem-Solving & Decision-Making
