Customer Data Steward Associate Principal (Order Management Data & Operational KPIs)

Location: Kraków, Malopolskie, Poland

Overview This Data Steward Associate Principal role is responsible for governing Order Management data and related Operational KPI data to ensure it is accurate, fit for purpose, well defined and aligned to Global Data Governance standards. The role is a key member of the Order Management & Logistics subdomain, reporting to the Data Steward Principal for Order Management & Logistics, who holds overall accountability for the subdomain. Under that leadership, the steward supports trusted reporting, operational decision-making, process improvement and digital use cases by working across source systems such as SAP and downstream analytical environments to define standards, assess data quality, drive remediation and enable consistent KPI measurement across markets and functions. Responsibilities Own data stewardship for Order Management data and Operational KPI data, including key transactional, master, reference, and analytical elements required to support operational reporting and performance management. Ensure alignment to Global Data Governance policies, standards, definitions, and processes, while representing Order Management business requirements and market realities. Lead data discovery, source identification, metadata capture, cataloguing and business definition activities for in-scope datasets, data elements, KPIs, dimensions and measures. Define, document and maintain data quality rules from source systems through downstream consumption layers to enable end-to-end data quality management. Monitor data quality performance for Order Management datasets and KPI outputs, identify priority gaps, perform root cause analysis, and orchestrate remediation plans to fix and prevent recurring issues. Partner with business SMEs, process owners, system owners, data owners, DMO, and engineering teams to resolve data defects through system changes, cleansing, rule implementation, process refinement or standard updates. Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Experience governing Operational KPI data and improving KPI reliability across multiple markets or business units. Knowledge of enterprise data foundations, data cataloguing, metadata management, and governed analytical data layers. Experience with data quality dashboards, stewardship workflows, and structured remediation playbooks. Understanding of cross-functional dependencies across Customer, Material, Pricing, Logistics, Inventory, Delivery, and Invoice data as they relate to Order Management performance. Experience supporting large transformation programs, SAP deployments, or enterprise reporting initiatives where trusted operational data is critical. Core Competencies Strong knowledge of master, transactional, reference, and KPI data in the Order Management domain. Strong understanding of data quality management, data profiling, rule definition, and issue remediation practices. Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority in a matrix environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data issues in business terms. Ability to build trusted cross-functional relationships and work effectively with both local and global stakeholders. Structured, proactive, and comfortable bringing clarity to ambiguous or evolving situations. Ability to challenge current-state processes and help shape more scalable, governed ways of working. Strong business acumen and judgment in balancing governance discipline with operational practicality. Compensation and Benefits - applicable for Polish market: The expected starting compensation range for this position is 249000,0 PLN annually (gross). Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
