Category Reporting & Insights Manager

Overview The Category Reporting & Insights Manager contributes to PepsiCo Beverages Canada’s success by identifying and analyzing business trends, customer developments, competitive activities, and highlight the potential impact to PBC objectives. This individual is also responsible for leading the development of data driven reporting solutions that integrate several data sources to highlight opportunities for PepsiCo and our retailers. Reports to: Senior Manager Market Intelligence/Reporting What you can expect from us: Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits designed to fit your unique needs A dynamic and inclusive culture that promotes you to bring your whole-self to work Inspiring positive change for people and the planet with sustainability goals A supportive team that will encourage your professional growth and development Compensation: $75,300 - $122,760 Responsibilities Setting the reporting agenda for this role & proactively looking to improve and streamline reporting efficiencies through technology Manage Retail Sales Team periodic reporting as required, function as a lead for internal and external communication Manage external partner relationships and accurately maintain master data for the category management team Develop category, customer, consumer, and competitive understanding in order to effectively identify opportunities and recommend solutions to maximize PBC revenue and profit Proactively deliver market, competitive, and customer insights by analyzing and synthesizing data from multiple sources Analyze and monitor progress towards achievement of business objectives and recommend improvements Establish and leverage strong partnerships with PepsiCo cross functional and DX teams Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; MBA degree preferred 4+ years previous account management, business analyst or field sales experience in a consumer packaged goods environment; direct store delivery an asset Category management, shelf management or business analysis experience in consumer products goods industry an asset; Solid leadership and interpersonal skills required Self-starter, able to work independently on projects Solid organizational and project management skills – able to establish priorities, strong detailed execution and ability to multi-task; Knowledge of consumer brand marketing; Strong analytical skills, able to synthesize information to develop understanding and insights Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft Suite, advanced excel skills Technical expertise with Nielsen and database systems (Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI) – strong asset Why work at PepsiCo At PepsiCo, you’re invited to be a part of a global team of innovators who make, move, and sell these products—which are enjoyed by more than 1 billion people a day.
