Associate Manager - Data Science

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India

Overview This individual will support the Global RGM Analytics and Insights agenda helping and leveraging that information to deliver solutions for driving actionable insights for the global Sector and key Markets. Key responsibilities will be to understand data availability in different markets, develop solutions using advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning projects to support perfect store agenda Optimizing and integrating different data sets to enable the undertaking of advanced analytics to identify growth opportunities Responsibilities Clean and prepare data for use in advanced analytics, revenue growth management , artificial intelligence, and machine learning projects Build analysis in Python with accompanying documentation Execute predictive and prescriptive analytics with an emphasis on actionable insights to be deployed in the market Advise and share Advanced Analytics models with Sectors and Markets to leverage and build Advanced Analytics capability. Develop, maintain, and apply statistical models to business questions - including clustering, segmentation, forecasting etc. Provide responses to ad-hoc follow-ups when double-click (additional questions) required with tables/charts for relevant data Create visualizations to be used in explaining and clarifying difficult concepts and analytical insights Qualifications Bachelor's or advanced degree in CS/Technology, for instance a Master’s degree or PhD in data science or math (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science) or equivalent experience 3 years + of relevant advanced analytics experience in Marketing or Commercial in either Retail, or CPG industries. Other B2C domains can be considered Must know how to write SQL and extract data from large and small databases Ability to translate business and technical requirements into non-technical terms Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases High-level written and verbal communication skills Provide ad-hoc analysis and deliverables as requested Experience using Data Bricks, Full Azure Stack, Tableau/Power BI, Python and other Visual Analytics and Statistics tools Results oriented with the ability to complete assignments in a timely manner Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn various in-house applications Detail-oriented with dedication to continuous improvement
