Associate Director- Project Management

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India

Overview This role will act as a Finance Transformation & Capability Lead supporting strategic initiatives across Commercial Finance, Supply Chain Finance, FP&A, OPEX, Procurement Finance and Marketing Finance.The role combines strong finance functional expertise with structured project leadership to identify transformation opportunities, simplify and standardize ways of working, strengthen operating models and enable scalable delivery across GCC and Business Units.The individual will work closely with Finance leadership, BU stakeholders, GCC teams, Digital Planning and Data partners to drive cross-functional transformation initiatives, transition scalable activities into GCC and embed data-driven and digital ways of working across Finance. Responsibilities 1. Transformation & Strategic Initiatives • Drive strategic transformation initiatives across Commercial Finance, Supply Chain Finance, FP&A, OPEX, Procurement Finance and Marketing Finance• Identify standardization, simplification, automation and GCC scaling opportunities across finance processes and reporting• Support design and implementation of scalable finance operating models and governance frameworks• Partner with Finance leaders to shape future-state finance capabilities, service catalogues and transformation roadmaps 2. Project Leadership & Execution • Lead end-to-end project execution from problem definition, business case and roadmap creation through implementation and stabilization• Establish governance cadence, track milestones, risks, dependencies and delivery outcomes• Coordinate cross-functional teams across BU Finance, GCC, Digital, Data and Tech functions• Ensure projects translate into measurable business outcomes and sustainable adoption 3. Functional SME & Business Partnering • Bring strong understanding of finance processes across Commercial Finance, Supply Chain Finance, FP&A, OPEX, Procurement Finance and Marketing Finance• Act as a functional SME to identify gaps, challenge existing ways of working and drive scalable solutions• Translate business and operational challenges into structured transformation opportunities and actionable recommendations• Support cross-functional alignment across BU Finance, GCC, Digital, Data and Tech stakeholders 4. Capability Building & Change Management • Drive adoption of new processes, tools and reporting frameworks across teams and markets• Support capability building through knowledge sharing, training and best practice documentation• Partner with Capability Leads to embed continuous improvement and digital mindset across teams• Help build scalable governance, documentation and repeatable frameworks for long-term sustainability Qualifications Functional & Technical Skills • Strong finance process knowledge across Commercial Finance, Supply Chain Finance, FP&A, reporting and business partnering• Strong understanding of finance operating models, reporting flows and process standardization• Exposure to finance transformation, automation, analytics or digital initiatives preferred• Ability to structure problems, analyze root causes and translate into scalable solutions Leadership & Behavioral Skills 1. Strategic thinking – able to connect operational initiatives to broader business outcomes2. Strong execution discipline – drives projects with structure, rigor and accountability3. Influencing & stakeholder management – able to navigate ambiguity and align cross-functional teams without direct authority4. Functional curiosity & problem solving – proactively identifies gaps and improvement opportunities5. Communication & storytelling – simplifies complex topics into clear, executive-ready narratives6. Change leadership – drives adoption, standardization and continuous improvement mindset7. Responsibilities
