Associate Digital Designer

Location: New Cairo, Egypt

Responsibilities Project Management – Scoping the project, timelines, self quality check, iterations, ensure the preparation of final print file with correct specs shared with the Printer. Expert in Package Design – Expertise in Packaging design to understand the brief and execute the projects as per the brief, value add in the day-to-day projects where possible Expert in POSM & OOH Adaptation – Expertise in POSM & OOH adaptation to understand the brief and execute the projects as per the brief, value add in the day-to-day projects where possible Communication – Pro-actively connect with requestors, team and printer over email and calls Qualifications 4+ years experience in Packaging Design for a CPG company. Strong preference for candidates with both, agency and client background. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Demonstrated understanding of relationships between agencies, brands, retailers, and vendors. Experience working with designers and agencies. Solid project management, process, and organizational skills with a heightened attention to detail. Previous experience managing direct reports. Language proficiency both in English and Arabic is a must for this role (FLUENT ENGLISH COMMUNICATION SKILLS ARE COMPULSORY). Strong track record of demonstrating ability to oversee a range of brands and projects with detail-oriented lens. Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules and work independently with little direction. Solid understanding of color separation principles and processes. Strong knowledge of printing technologies, prepress requirements, and production standards. Preferable Applied Arts degree in Printing, Packaging, and Publishing. Basic 3D modeling skills would be considered an advantage.
