Architect - Identity & Access Management
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India
Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior IAM Analyst to lead and coordinate Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives across multiple business programs, applications, platforms, and transformation projects. This role will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, application teams, project managers, architects, cybersecurity teams, and IAM engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of IAM requirements throughout the project lifecycle. The candidate will be responsible for understanding project scope, business requirements, timelines, dependencies, risks, and implementation plans while driving IAM workstreams to completion. The role requires strong stakeholder management, program coordination, requirement gathering, documentation, reporting, and IAM domain knowledge. The ideal candidate combines project delivery discipline with practical IAM expertise across Identity Lifecycle Management, SSO, MFA, PAM, Directory Services, and Access Governance. Responsibilities IAM Program & Project Management Manage and coordinate multiple IAM-related initiatives simultaneously. Act as the primary point of contact between business/application teams and IAM teams. Understand project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and dependencies. Ensure IAM requirements are identified early and incorporated into project plans. Track project deliverables, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies. Drive project execution and ensure timely closure of IAM action items. Facilitate governance meetings, project updates, and status reviews. Escalate critical risks and blockers appropriately. Business Engagement & Stakeholder Management Partner with business stakeholders to understand functional and security requirements. Collaborate with application owners, infrastructure teams, cloud teams, cybersecurity teams, and external vendors. Act as a trusted advisor for IAM-related requirements and best practices. Develop strong relationships with project sponsors and key stakeholders. Drive alignment across multiple cross-functional teams. Manage stakeholder communications and expectations. IAM Requirements & Solution Coordination 9+ yrs of experience in Gather, analyse, and document IAM requirements. Translate business requirements into IAM implementation requirements. Partner with IAM architects and engineering teams to define solutions. Validate proposed IAM designs align with business and security objectives. Coordinate implementation activities across teams. Documentation & Governance Responsible for creation and maintenance of: Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), User Stories, Solution Design Documents, Process Flows, AM Architecture Inputs, Change Management Documentation, Operational Runbooks, Implementation Plans,Test Plans, Cutover Plans, Support Handover Documentation Ensure all documentation is maintained according to enterprise standards. Project Planning & Execution Create and maintain project plans and implementation schedules. Support planning and dependency management. Coordinate project milestones and readiness activities. Ensure adherence to delivery timelines. Monitor progress and provide regular reporting to leadership. Reporting & Metrics Develop executive and operational status reports. Provide dashboards and reporting on: Present updates to leadership and governance forums. Change Management & Transition Facilitate transition from project teams to support teams. Ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer. Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestitures (M&A) Support IAM workstreams for M&A initiatives. Participate in due diligence activities. Support Day-1 readiness and transition activities.
