About the role:

We’re looking for a strong backend engineer with a spark of leadership. If you're technically sharp, hands-on, and looking to take the next step, you'll find plenty of opportunities to grow — we love promoting from within.

What You'll Do

• Own and lead development of backend components within our Autonomous Hacking platform
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and cybersecurity research teams
• Mentor other developers and contribute to a strong engineering culture
• Work with modern technologies: Java, Python, MongoDB, Flink, Docker, AWS, RabbitMQ, and more
• Own features from concept to production: From design, through development, to production

• 6+ years of software development experience, including hands-on coding in Java or Python
• 2+ years in a leadership or leadership-adjacent role (team lead, scrum master, technical lead, etc..) — ideally in a mid-sized company
• Someone who’s naturally seen as a technical authority — others turn to you for guidance
• Strong experience building scalable microservices, using technologies like Spring Boot, Flask, AWS, RabbitMQ, Docker, MongoDB, etc.
