Job Description
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Automation Engineer ready to join our Client's team in the Hague, the Netherlands, and drive our continuous integration and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CI/CD, containerization, and cloud infrastructure automation.
Note: This position requires EU citizenship due to security clearance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
CI/CD Pipeline Management
- Design and implement automated build and deployment pipelines
- Optimize existing deployment workflows
- Maintain and improve build automation systems
Infrastructure & Platform Management
- Administer and configure Azure DevOps Server/Services
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform
- Monitor and maintain system performance and availability
DevOps Practice Leadership
- Drive automation initiatives across the organization
- Implement DevOps best practices and methodologies
- Collaborate with development teams to improve delivery processes
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
Security & Compliance
- Ensure security best practices in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance standards in deployment processes
- Implement secure configuration management
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience with CI/CD platforms and practices
- Minimum 3 years of Azure DevOps Server administration experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Kubernetes application deployments
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
- Proficient English communication skills (B2 level or higher)
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
- Experience with major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Strong scripting abilities (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Technical Skills Required
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps Server/Services
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline creation and management
- Proficiency in container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Puppet)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Understanding of cloud architecture principles
