Job Description

As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in driving data-driven decisions by leveraging Microsoft Power BI and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. You will work on creating scalable data solutions, conducting complex analyses, and building machine learning models to solve business problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop advanced data visualization dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI (mandatory).
• Utilize Python for data analysis and machine learning tasks to generate actionable insights.
• Implement scalable data solutions using Azure Data Lake and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Manage and analyze data using Azure SQL Database and/or Cosmos DB.
• Build and deploy machine learning models with Azure Machine Learning.
• Work on a variety of data science tasks, including predictive modeling (forecasting, recommendations), prescriptive analytics (simulations), sentiment analysis, topic detection, social media crawling and processing, plagiarism detection, and trends/anomalies detection in datasets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and develop data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Mandatory: Excellent knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and analytics.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis and machine learning tasks.
• Good knowledge of designing and implementing scalable data solutions with Azure Data Lake and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Familiarity with Azure SQL Database and/or Cosmos DB.
• Experience in building and deploying models using Azure Machine Learning.
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: predictive modeling, prescriptive analytics, sentiment analysis, topic detection, social media data processing, plagiarism detection, or anomaly detection in datasets.
• Certifications related to Microsoft 365 are a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data science or a related role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for leveraging data to drive business outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
