Peloton Interactive, Inc. seeks Senior Software Engineer, Streaming in New York, NY:
Job Duties: Build solutions that scale and collaborate with multiple teams on projects from idea to production. Identify areas for improvement, research the best way to address the problem, and justify approach and then implement the solution. Develop, maintain, extend, and improve video backend based on the state-of-the-art technology. Collaborate with a highly skilled team of multi-national engineers to build and operate video services. Responsible for creating, protecting, and monitoring Peloton’s streaming infrastructure. Developing and maintaining a media asset workflow that manages both live and video on demand (VOD) content. Ensure the highest quality video content for members. Works with the production team to manage the automated ingestion of new media. Collaborate with Software Engineering to improve the quality of asset management. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computational Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field, OR Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computational Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Python, (2) C, (3) C++, (4) C#, (5) Javascript, (6) AWS Media Services; (7) Lambda, (8) S3, (9) Eventbridge Trigger, (10) Docker. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
Salary: $154,100.00 - $200,400.00 per annum.
